Paul Knoll
Chief Executive Officer | Schneider Elite Machining GroupPaul Knoll is a seasoned operating executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across engineering, manufacturing, and logistics. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Schneider Elite Machining Group, a precision manufacturing platform that includes JR Machine and ETW Precision Machining. In this role, Paul leads strategic direction, operational execution, and growth initiatives across the organization, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and customer value.
Paul began his career at Power Gear, where he built a strong technical foundation through engineering and product development roles. He later spent 14 years at Schneider National, gaining extensive experience in large-scale operations, leadership development, and performance-driven environments. Over the past 15 years, Paul has held senior leadership positions across multiple manufacturing organizations, including President of Metals Engineering, General Manager of Pioneer Metal Finishing, MCL Industries, and McDonald Companies.
Throughout his career, Paul has been recognized for his ability to blend deep technical expertise with strong people-centered leadership. He has successfully led organizations through growth, operational improvement, and cultural alignment by emphasizing accountability, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution. His leadership philosophy centers on building high-performing teams, strengthening operational fundamentals, and aligning strategy with day-to-day execution.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, which provides a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation that continues to inform his leadership approach.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Paul is active in board and community leadership. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Regents for Fox Valley Lutheran High School and in various board roles for Mount Olive Lutheran School and Church. He also serves on the Board of McDonald Companies in Green Bay.
Paul resides in Appleton, Wisconsin, with his wife and three sons. He is passionate about developing people, building durable manufacturing businesses, and leading organizations that prioritize integrity, excellence, and long-term success.
